COALITION OF CLERGY SEXUAL ABUSE VICTIM/SURVIVORS AND THEIR SUPPORTERS TO RALLY AT THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW ARCHBISHOP OF BOSTON
What
The installation of the new Archbishop of Boston, Richard Henning, will draw many organizations and individuals for the purpose of demonstrating that Richard Henning will be just like his predecessors Sean O’Malley, Bernard Law, Humberto Medeiros, Richard Cushing, and all other Archbishops of one of the largest populations of Catholics in the country and, as many agree, with one of the most damning histories of clergy sexual abuse and its cover-up.
Archbishop Richard Henning has a history of ignoring or botching clergy sexual abuse cases during his time as Auxiliary Bishop of Rockville Centre, New York (a bankrupt diocese which continues to mistreat and delay victims’ just settlements and from whence came Bishop William Murphy, the disgraced Auxiliary Bishop of Boston and Bishop of Rockville Centre, New York). Richard Henning also covered-up allegations of clergy sexual abuse and mistreated innocent victim/survivors as Bishop of Providence, Rhode Island.
