BISHOP EDGAR DA CUNHA’S WAR OF ATTRITION
BISHOP EDGAR DA CUNHA IS RE-VICTIMIZING CHILDHOOD CLERGY SEXUAL ABUSE VICTIMS IN THE DIOCESE OF FALL RIVER, MA
Innocent victims of sexual abuse by clergy of the Diocese of Fall River, MA, are being re-victimized and re-traumatized by Bishop Edgar da Cunha who is ignoring the repeated requests of childhood clergy sexual abuse victims to have their claims validated in a timely manner through the Diocese of Fall River, MA, Settlement Program.
Some claimants well into their 70’s and in ill health have been waiting years to have their claims validated through the Diocese of Fall River Settlement Program
The Settlement Program for the Diocese of Fall River is meant to validate claims of childhood clergy sexual abuse victims, but because it is practicing unreasonable delay, the program is deceptive and re-victimizing victims many of whom are elderly and in ill health. As a result, it has become clear that the Diocese of Fall River, MA, wants these victims to eventually be unable to participate in the Settlement Program
As Bishop of Fall River, MA, Bishop Edgar da Cunha should respond to the needs of childhood clergy sexual abuse victims in a morally responsible way as an example for the world to follow.
