From approximately 1969-1970, “Jane Doe” was repeatedly sexually abused as a minor child by Fr. Toribio Villacastin who was assigned to St. Isaac Jogues Parish in East Hartford, CT. “Jane Doe” will not be available for public comment.
The Archdiocese of Hartford did not properly investigate and research Filipino priest Fr. Toribio Villacastin before allowing him to serve as a priest in the Hartford Archdiocese as a “visiting clergyman.”
Fr. Toribio Villacastin was assigned to St. Isaac Jogues Parish in East Hartford, CT and St. Francis Parish, Naugatuck, CT, and during his assignments in the Archdiocese of Hartford, he was allowed by the Archdiocese to give public lectures, demonstrations, and workshops throughout the Archdiocese of Hartford
